Hi all,
Hope you all had a good weekend. We did.
Saturday - ran around running last minute errands.
At night, took the boys out for hot chocolates at Starbucks...again.
Sunday - Cut the grass, cleaned up the yard, and went to a local farm for the "Fall Fest".
We have a lot of fun picking out pumpkins, taking TWO hayrides, Kyle rode a Pony (Dylan bailed at the last second!), and watched the famous "pig races".
The farmers set up this little 4' wide race course about 75' long and they let three little piglets loose from the 'starting gate' at one end. Before the races, they hand out colored flags to little kids to wave for their respective pig. If you pig wind, you win a prize pack. (Kyle had a flag last year and his pig won!) He was lucky enough to get a flag again this year, but his pig came in second - after leading right up to the end. Anyway, at then end of the race is a big bowl of Oreo Cookies. Who wouldn't run for Oreos!
Here are a couple of photos from today:
We go every year and have a lot of fun.
The stress level is rising a bit as time melts away...
Do we have everything we need?
If so, how is it all going to fit into our bags?
If it fits in our bags, how will we carry them!
I don't remember the stress level being quite this high with our trip last year for Dylan.
It probably was, but now we have FIVE people to keep track of!
Have a good night and more soon.
