One the flight to GZ from Wuhan.
We had to return to the Civil Affairs Office in the days after hand-off the to do some final paperwork.

There are a few and we found one close - this one became one of our "go-to" spots.
It's actually in the basement of this building!
In case you can't recognize...they're Turtles.
They were at the Guiyan Temple. People bring them from local restaurants (where they were most likely destined for Turtle Soup) and simply drop them over the wall into the pond to save them.
Gotta love it - Buddhist Turtle Liberation!!
They seem to like it - Grant predicted that we'd see exactly this scene after the several days of rain as the turtles climb higher over each other toward the warmth of the sun.
